Downtown Salem offers paid on-street parking. Good news: parking in one of the city-owned public parking garages is still free for customers and visitors. Want an easier way to manage your parking? Getting to Salem
Salem is located just an hour's drive from both Portland International Airport (PDX) and Eugene Airport (EUG). Direct shuttle services and rental cars make the final leg of your journey seamless. Salem Airport (SLE) also offers private and charter flights.

Public Transit
Cherriots is the public transit system serving Salem and the mid-Willamette Valley area. It provides bus service over 76 square miles, including local routes in Salem and Keizer, and regional routes connecting Salem to surrounding areas in Marion and Polk counties, including Woodburn, Wilsonville and Dallas, Or.
