It is legal in Oregon for people 21 and older to possess and use cannabis products recreationally, however it remains illegal to use these products in public spaces. Federal law also prohibits people from taking recreational marijuana over state lines. If lodging facilities allow the use of recreational marijuana in hotel or motel rooms, they can only do so in rooms that are designated as smoking rooms.
