S.T.E.A.M.'d Up for Kids!
May 18, 9:00am
This unique event blends S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities with a taste of local history, making it an ideal outing for families with young children. Kids will have a blast building cool creations, riding on miniature trains, learning old-fashioned skills like rope-making, and even making their own ice cream! Plus, guests can explore museums, climb on outdoor tractors, hop on trolley rides, and witness a shortened version of the Great Oregon Steam-Up's "Parade of Power."
"S.T.E.A.M.'d Up for Kids is all about sparking kids' curiosity and making learning a thrilling adventure," says Michelle Duchateau, president of Antique Powerland Museum Association at Powerland Heritage Park .
