And of course, there’s the wine…Oregon’s Willamette Valley was named the 2016 Wine Region of the Year by Wine Enthusiast Magazine - and Salem sits in the heart of it, surrounded by dozens of award-winning wineries with stunning views and welcoming tasting rooms.
