Travel Salem is gearing up to honor and celebrate the Mid-Willamette Valley's hospitality & tourism industry at the annual MOPO Awards event.

Travel Salem invites you to nominate a business or community member that has gone above and beyond for the industry (e.g., marketing campaign, promotion, collaboration, volunteered time; enhanced the economic impact of the region; developed a new product, trail, or event). Nominations are due by March 24, 2023.

• Accomplishment occured during 2022
  
• Business or individual must be located in Salem and Marion or Polk County
  
• Business or individual must be associated with or had a positive impact on the hospitality industry (e.g., economic impact, awareness, collaboration)

• Lodging (e.g., hotel, motel)
  
• Culinary (e.g., restaurant, vineyard, brewery, food trail)
  
• Venue (e.g., meeting, convention, or event space)
  
• Agriculture (e.g., farm market, tour)
  
• Cultural (e.g., performing, visual, wearable art, exhibit)
  
• Heritage (e.g., museum, tour, exhibit)
  
• Recreation (e.g., indoor/outdoor activity)
  
• Event (e.g., fair, festival, celebration)
  
• Sports (e.g., soccer, basketball, ultimate frisbee)
  
• An Individual (e.g., community member)
