Yozakura - Nighttime Viewing of the Cherry Blossoms at the Capitol
March 21 to April 4
Oregon Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a “Yozakura” – nighttime viewing of the cherry blossoms in State Capitol State Park. Japanese lanterns and lights will illuminate the trees until 10 p.m. nightly.
No alcohol is allowed in the park and it closes at 10 p.m., however the public is invited to bring a blanket or beach chairs, a picnic, and practice “hanami” or blossom viewing.
