August 9, 10:00am
Come to Salem for the Englewood Forest Festival, a magical summer day of art, music, dance and hands-on nature activities for people of all ages in a beautiful, historic park filled with trees, flowers, birds and other wildlife.
The free festival unfolds 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 9 in Englewood Park, 1260 19th St. NE in Northeast Salem.
Festival-goers can enjoy art, dance and music and learn a variety of ways to protect birds, trees, streams and other natural habitat in their own yards and neighborhoods.
Nearly 80 booths feature many local artists, nonprofits, community resources and authors from Salem and the Willamette Valley. Ceramics, painting, jewelry, photography, fiber, glass art, clothing, sculpture, garden art, and recycled items will be on display and for sale.
Designed by the renown women-owned landscape team of Lord &Schryver, Englewood Park is a historic gem in Northeast Salem and a perfect place to enjoy art, connect and learn more about the natural world we live in.
