Aurora was Oregon’s first National Historic District and has been an antiques center since the early 1970s. Known as Oregon’s Antique Capital, the downtown historic buildings are filled with 25 antique and specialty shops plus eateries. Aurora is home to the Pacific Hazelnut Candy Factory. The Factory roasts and seasons nuts and chocolate coats hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, prunes and pretzels. With their secret recipe for hazelnut toffee this candy factory is truly gourmet.
