    Saturday, October 5, 2019 -
    7:00pm to 9:00pm

Come join the Independence Downtown Association for the annual Ghost Walk. We organize this event every year and share the stories of the past with those visiting our historic downtown. Stop at each marked location to hear the tales of the historic buildings from ghost hosts who know the history. Some buildings date back to the late 1800's and have seen a lot of life pass through, but some of those spirits never left.... This year, those attending the Ghost Walk will get the opportunity to "choose their own adventure". Starting at 7:00 p.m. and going until 9:00 p.m., we will hand out maps that show participating locations and you will get to choose your own route. This is a free event, suitable for all ages, however donations are always appreciated as they help us keep fun events like this free!
