Solar Eclipse Weekend at the Oregon State Capitol

Experience the Eclipse from the grounds of the Oregon State Capitol, the first of five state capitals that are in the Eclipse's path. Tours and activities throughout the weekend (Aug.19-20), including a concert at 11:30 am on August 19. The Capitol is open from 9 am-2 pm. Tower tours: 9, 10, 11 am, noon, 1 pm. (Weather permitting and limited to 50 people per tour). Building tours: 9:30, 10:30, 11:30 am, 12:30 and 1:30 pm. Day of Eclipse: Building open 8 am-5 pm. Rose City Astronomer President Margaret McCrea will broadcast from the Capitol Mall during the eclipse. Tower tours at 1 & 2 pm. Building tours at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm.
