The Salem Civic Center is turning 50! Help us celebrate on Thursday, August 18, from 3 to 7 p.m. with lots of fun activities and entertainment. We're exploring many facets of our City and its origins, including art, architecture, people, history, prehistory and education.

We're bringing together entertainment from our community, including a marching band, a ukulele band, storytellers, dancers and more. Experts on art and architecture will lead tours of the Civic Center. You'll also be able to discover it for yourself with our art scavenger hunt. We'll also have:

- youth activities

- a groovy 70s costume party

- a photo booth to capture your far out costumes

- interpretive panels

- art scavenger hunt

- community reflections

We'll also offer cool treats, giveaways and a resource fair.
