In early 20th-century, a young Spokane woman traveling to the Palouse is haunted by the feeling that she’s been there before. While seeking to decipher the reason, she loses her heart to a troubled young agrarian and his radical sister, and must decide whether to return to her well-planned life or lose herself forever in these unforgiving hills. A story of loss, love and the pull of the past, set against the battle for justice in the fields.
