Description: Keizer, Oregon a town of baseball fans and iris growers and the Iris Festival are located halfway between the Equator and the North Pole. A ceremonious bench and sign mark the halfway point providing photo opportunities for this unique destination. Carlson Skate Park Open daily from dawn to dusk. Description: Skateboarding, biking and inline skating provide fun for kids of all ages. The park has 21,000-square-foot of ramps, grinds and cement runs. Helmets required. Keizer Heritage Foundation & Museum Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm; Sat, 10am-4pm. Description: Visit this restored 1916 schoolhouse, which houses Keizer Heritage Museum, Enid Joy Mount Art Gallery, library and event room, available to rent. Schreiner’s Iris Gardens Dawn till dusk (depending on the weather) during the bloom season, May through the first week of June. Description: Enjoy our indoor cut-flower display and be sure to stop by the Garden Gift Shop or take a bit of color home by purchasing fresh cut flowers. Free admission.
