Marion and Polk county artists open their studios for a self-guided driving tour, featuring 16 artists. Sponsored by Artists in Action. Capital City Spectacular Concert & Fireworks

A wonderful evening of Patriotic Symphonic music featuring some of the best singers and musicians Oregon has to offer.  This 1.5 hour performance is a prelude to the spectacular fireworks show and is the beginning of a new tradition at the Oregon State Capital, Salem.  Presented by Northwest Broadway Productions and the City of Salem. Berries, Bands, Birdhouses ~ Strawberry Social in Old Aurora

46th Annual Strawberry Social with music by Oregon’s Old Time Fiddlers and a local band. Stroll through the historic Ox Barn Museum, the Kraus House and an 1871 cabin. Kids can make a bird house. Tour the new exhibit “A Family Dynasty in Oregon: 1847-1905”. The Strawberry Social and museum admission is combined. $10 adults, $6 6 & under. All proceeds benefit the Old Aurora Colony Museum.
