Local Heroes “Show up” for a Good Cause

When we remember those who gave their lives in the aftermath of the September 11th Attacks, our hearts go out to people in public service industries who “show-up” everyday and work to make our community better: law enforcement, firefighters, nurses, school teachers and everyone who devotes their life to serving others. Salem wants to pay tribute to some of these people in our region who champion extraordinary causes.

You're Invited - Special Celebration

Our Pal, Sal!

If you haven’t already met Travel Salem’s Golden Pioneer, we’d like to introduce you to our pal Sal, everybody’s favorite guy because he is part of Travel Salem’s Golden Pioneer Giveaway, where visitors and folks in the community can win freebies if they log onto Travel Salem’s Facebook page. People have to “guess where the Golden Pioneer is,” in a kind of Where’s Waldo fashion or participate in other Travel Salem contests which change monthly.
