The Winter Solstice has come and gone, which means we’re headed for longer days and more exposure to direct sunlight. Keep this in mind when deciding whether to stay in hibernation or wake up! I suggest waking up! Open your front door to a little fresh wintry air and find ways to bloom in the midst of winter, there are so many things to do in our region! Follow the lead of the Helleborus or Christmas Flower who blooms this month in shades like black, wine and berry. Go to 
Travel Salem is hard at work promoting Salem as a conference, meeting, and event destination. We offer diverse services to groups ranging from gathering items for welcome bags to arranging pre- and post-tours to providing on-site visitor information. The services Travel Salem offers is the "frosting on the cake" that ensures a successful event.
