SCVA Booster Volunteers Needed
Salem Convention & Visitor Association (SCVA) is actively seeking friendly, knowledgeable community members for our visitor services team!
SCVA has a lively group of volunteers fondly referred to as Salem Boosters. These generous Booster volunteers provide essential assistance to Salem area visitors in a variety of ways. Boosters assist visitors in the Official Salem Visitors Center located at Mission Mill Museum by answering questions, directing visitors throughout Salem and the two-county region. Boosters assist conference/meeting delegates and event participants by staffing visitor information tables and sharing their knowledge of the area with these out of town guests. Boosters also assist with the preparation of visitor information packets and hospitality welcome bags.
The SCVA staff and Boosters meet monthly and visit area attractions for information regarding the latest community developments. These informative, educational and fun meetings help keep the SCVA staff and Booster volunteers current to ensure visitors receive the highest customer service and hospitality possible.
