Over the years SCVA's staff and programs have been recognized for their outstanding marketing and partnership efforts. Here are a few of the Association's award highlights.
- 2007 Amateur Softball Association James Farrell Award of Excellence – In recognition of hosting 2 highest rated national championships in 2007.
- 2005 Governor’s Cooperative Partnership Award – Recognizing cooperative tourism marketing efforts.
- 1998 Promotional Products Association International Golden Pyramid Award – In recognition of innovative marketing through the use of promotional products.
- 1997 Governor’s Individual Tourism Award, Presented to Irene Bernards – Recognizing leadership and commitment to Oregon’s tourism industry.
